Mine & Yours: Blurring the lines between artist and humanitarian

Photography has become a weapon of compassion and wisdom for me over the last 20+ years. My personal photographic process involves developing and building real relationships, from which I document lived experience. It's the difference between taking someone's picture, and photographing their joy or struggle. In this way my subjects are in control, and I merely a creative conduit. Over the years, though, it has become more and more important for me to teach people how to be their own conduits.  People learn and evolve through expression.  I evolve as an artist as I listen and observe this beautifully natural process unfold.  Therefore, my artistic journey is one of surrender and interconnectedness.
